Who runs this website
This is the resident community website for Florence Park, New Chandigarh. It is run by volunteers for the society's residents. It is not a commercial service and is separate from any developer, facility-management or visitor-management app.
What we collect
When you register, we collect only what is needed to review your request:
- Your full name
- Your mobile number
- Your tower and flat number
- Whether you are an owner, tenant, family member or other
- The date and time you submitted the form and agreed to this notice
We do not collect Aadhaar or other ID numbers, dates of birth, vehicle numbers, photographs or information about children. Your mobile number is not verified by a one-time code at this stage.
Why we collect it
Only to check that you live at Florence Park and to approve your access to community features. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it.
Who can see it
Your details are not shown publicly. They can be seen by the society's authorised administrators through a password-protected admin area. Mobile numbers and flat numbers will not be shown to other residents unless you clearly agree to that in future.
Where it is stored
Registration details are stored in a database hosted in Mumbai, India. The website itself is served by Hostinger. These providers process data only to run the service for us.
How long we keep it
We keep your registration while your request is open and while you remain a resident using the site. Deletion is currently done by the administrators on request; there is no automatic deletion yet, and this policy will be updated when there is.
Your choices
You can ask the administrators to:
- show you the information held about you,
- correct it if it is wrong,
- delete it, or stop using it, and withdraw your consent.
Contact details for the grievance officer will be published on the Contact page by the society committee. Until then, please raise requests with the society office.
Children
This website is for adult residents. Please do not submit information about children.
Security
The site uses encrypted connections, the admin area is password-protected, and the database is not publicly accessible. No online system is completely secure, so please tell us at once if you think your information has been misused.
Changes to this policy
If we change how your information is used, we will update this page and its date.
